Domain pointer allows you to have multiple domains on your servers resolve to a single webspace. For example, if you host "SampleDomain.com" with us and would like "SampleDomain.net" and "SampleDomain.org" to display the site content of "SampleDomain.com", then you would use domain pointers. Then, when a visitor types "SampleDomain.org" into the address bar, they are taken to a site that contains the site content of "SampleDomain.com" but the address remains "SampleDomain.org." Thus, a domain pointer gives viewers the impression that each domain is a separate WebSite because they can be viewed without the address changing to "SampleDomain.com" in the viewer's browser address bar.
